HI,
Sibelius won't allow a tuplet on the 2nd voice. I am clearly selecting the 2nd voice (green) but Sibelius is applying the tuplet to the 1st voice. Please see the attached photo.

If you're looking to do 8th note triplets - make sure you have the rest selected as well. If you're looking for 16th note triplets, make sure the note you've selected is a 16th note and you have the whole duration of the triplet selected. Hope this helps

I tried Selecting the rest with the note and that will not fix it. Anyway, it should not apply the triplet to a voice other than the one I've selected. If I had selected only the 8th note that would be sufficient in the 1st voice to transform it into a triplet 8th note there. But because the selected note is in the 2nd voice, Sibelius doesn't seem to know how to apply tuplet there and adds a triplet to the 1st voice instead. Does anybody else have this problem?
In this new photo, the 1st measure shows the selected green note and rest, the one I want to turn into a triplet. The last measure shows what happens to the 1st measure when I apply Tuplet to the 2nd voice. What I need to have in the 2nd voice is done to the 1st voice.

So the fix is I have to use Ctrl+3 and not the top menu to apply a tuplet to the 2nd voice; In case anyone else runs into this problem.
