Getting Bar Numbers Closer to Staff

In my parts the bar numbers are under the staff and I want to get them closer. They are to far down. I want them just under the staff. I looked in Engraving Rules and Number Bars, but couldn't understand it. Maybe someone here can. Thanks.

Go to Engraving Rules > Bar Numbers
Look in the Vertical position area. You'd want to have Below bottom of staff selected.
Then change the value in the Parts section of Relative to Staff box, this is amount of space below the staff for the bar numbers in parts. Maybe try 2 or 3. You shouldn't have to regenerate the parts again.

Yes, it helped. That's how to do it. I notice that certain things won't allow the numbers to move up. Like dynamic markings, crescendo markings so you can move the numbers independently of each others. Thanks KJ.
