Hand claps in sib 6
Only if you have a sound library that has appropriate samples.
Follow the route:
House Styles-->Edit Instrument-->All Instruments-->Orchestral Unpitched Percussion-->Percussion (5 lines) [This may differ depending on what staff type you have used]-->Edit Instrument-->Edit Staff Type
In the dialog that follows, create a new note, using a different notehead type (avoid types 0 and 1) and assign a sound to it from the drop down box. Unfortunately, this forum does not allow files bigger than 100K to be uploaded so I can't show you a picture.

The built-in Sibelius 6 sound set already has hand claps, if you have that installed. If you go to Create > Instruments > Family > Others you should see Hand claps in the Instruments panel. Add that to your score and you're set, just add your rhythms. May not be the best samples in the world, but it's there if you want it.
