Hi all, I've tried searching both the forum and Google, but can't seem to find any other people with this problem.

I'm using Sibelius Ultimate. On my old Macbook running Sibelius 7.5 I was able to Command-Click at the start and then Shift-Click the last of a load of bars (to keep all my Rehearsal Marks and Double Barlines etc) and then press R to repeat the lot. In Sibelius Ultimate however, everything repeats fine except for the Rehearsal Mark which will be placed at the next Double Barline (even if that Double Barline is within the initial selection) - So basically I'm not able to have any Double Barlines within my selection, if I want the Rehearsal Mark to be put in the right place.

Anyone know why this is, and what can be done to remedy it? Apologies if I haven't explained it well enough, it's quite hard to describe! I can upload screenshots if necessary to help diagnose the issue. Just seems strange as it always worked perfectly in 7.5 - I can't seem to find any other reference to this change.

Thanks

Figured I may as well upload screenshots anyway, hopefully this makes the problem more clear:

I select the passage I want to duplicate with all system objects (Command-Click the first bar, and Shift-Click the last)

Press "R"....

Everything repeats, including the boxed system text, and the new Rehearsal Mark ("C") is created, but it isn't created at the start of the repeated section as intended, but at the following Double Barline from the start of the selection.

In 7.5 I could highlight like this, and just press "R" and it would copy everything perfectly. Is it a bug with Ultimate? Should I try and reinstall?

Thanks for your reply Mike! I guess other users having the same problem is a good thing in that it's not an isolated occurrence! I wonder if we can fix/workaround this somehow...

I'd say don't put your RMs in until after the music is finished.

You can report this on the FB group or on the actual Avid forum at https://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/helpce ... &groupid=3.

There are no Sibelius staffers on here.
