I've been using Sibelius 6 for years and all of a sudden, my lead sheets are not formatting when I open them, and new scores display incorrect symbols. For example, a lead sheet from a year ago now displays a dotted quarter note as a quarter note followed by TM. Also, interval names (numerals) next to chord tones are now showing as a stack of TMs. I have been trying to resolve this for over a week and am at a complete loss.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not actually a Sib problem but a Mac one. You need to make sure that your mac has properly recognised and installed all the fonts. If you have had a Mac OS upgrade this could be responsible for the snafu.
