I've followed every step I found in my google search and in the reference guide, and I still can't seem to get it to work.
Is there something new with this version? Do I need to update my current version? Thank you!
Hiding Empty Staves Sibelius 2020.12
What really matters is what tier of sibelius you are on. If you are on either Sinelius First or Sibelius you do not have all the functionality of the full program. You need the full Sibelius Ultimate.
If you have Sib ultimate, it is worth noting that you can only hide staves in FULL System widths.

NVM!!!!! I figured it out. It's just a really fussy program. I had to remove labels from the empty staves.
If there's stuff in there, it ain't empty!
You didn't have to delete them, hiding would have done.
