I assume that you mean quavers/semiquavers with flags? It's on the 3rd. keypad/numpad layout (=no 9).

Thanks MikelYons
For creating standalone eighth notes you said:
"It's on the 3rd. keypad/numpad layout (=no 9)"
Would you tell me what does this mean?

Have a look at the manual (press F1 with Sib open). You need Chapter 3.2 (Page 253 in my version). This explains the keypad and how it functions. If your computer has a numberpad, this makes using it very easy. You can use the + key on the keypad (to traverse the different sets of functions.

Thanks MikeLyons

I am sorry, maybe I put the question wrong. Let's say, if I write some music in 4/4, by default, sixteenth notes grouped in four under a beam. How can I separate one note, or any number of sixteenth notes away from the beam-group? I know if I go to "beam groups" in time signatures and assign 1,1,1.....for 16ths it will separate a highlighted section of these notes. IS THERE ANY PLUG-IN OR SHORT WAY TO DO THIS?

1. When you put in the time sig, set the beaming you want using More options at the bottom of the list.
2. Select the bars you want to change and use the key on the keypad.
3. If you have already put in a lot of notes, put in a new TS over the old one and re-do the beaming. You may then have to use reset design to get it to affect the note beaming

Thanks again MikeLons

"...put in a new TS over the old one and re-do the beaming".
This can solve my problem.
