printout treble clef is blobbed

Don't understand why the treble clef is blobbed from the printout from Sibelius.
It is fine if I export as PDF first, and then print the PDF.
Any thoughts? Many thanks!

I'm looking for the same solution. Any luck? Sib 2021.2, Mac OS 10.15.7.

I have no idea why this happens, but it only happens with Macs. The only solution I have seen is to make a pdf first and then print that. This bug was created in 7.1.5, then was fixed for a couple of versions, but then returned in the next version and has not been fixed to date. It appears to affect only certain printers (HP).

And of course Sibelius 8.5 is incompatible with Big Sur - lots of things will go probably wrong as you use it.
Blame Apple for making it so.
But 2021 versions should be OK. I have a feeling this was just asked over on the official forum. I assume that was you!
