way to notate arpeggios across staves
I have a situation in which I want to note an arpeggio containing a chord in each staff of a grand piano. See attachment. I did it by adding an arpeggio to one chord and then dragging it over to the other staff. Does this look right?

That's the way I've always notated chords across a grand staff (usually a final chord), and I've certainly seen this notation in printed scores. It seems to give reasonable results in playback. Not being much of a keyboard player I'm not completely sure, but when I've handed them out to someone who is, no complaints, they seem to know what to do with it.

I'm confused! I posted a full reply to this query a few hours ago and it seems to have disappeared.
I wouldn't run the arp line to top/bottom of the staves. See image.
Top note in voice 3, [ctrl][shift][uparrow] onto upper staff, lengthen (drag) the stem to hit the lower notes. Use the arpeggio on the keypad if you have a later version of sib. It works much better.
Maybe I missed out the f in shift again! (D'Uh)
