When I change the position of some element in a part, it turns orange, indicating that it is now different than in the main score.
Is there a way to revert that change later to match the score?
Reverting in-part changes to match score
By far the most common types of these changes are layout differences. Trust me, you really don't want them to be matching. If there are differences between accidentals in parts and score, be very certain that you need them to match. Sometimes these differences are necessary.

Yes, I'm referring to layout differences that I made manually. In the case that I DO want them to match, and I have a good reason for it, is there a way to achieve that?
AFAIK, you can only apply layout changes in the score to force them in the part ([ctrl][shift][alt]p in the part)
You can't force layout changes in the part to change the score.
