I have never seen a record button for Sibelius on my keypad. Is it possible to create one? I would like to use the letter R.

Flexitime is Sibelius' way of recording live playing. You start it with [ctrl][shift]f (on windows).

R is used to repeat copy a selection (eg. if you select a bar and press r, the bar will be copied after the selection) It's really useful for, for example, drum lines and bass lines where sections of music are often repeated over and over again. [shift]r is untaken, so, if you wanted to, you could set that to start flexitime. (File-->Preferences-->Keyboard Shortcuts).

Thanks for the reply Mike. Yes, now that you mention it I do use "R" all the time to repeat notes or other things. I'll try Shift R on my Mac with Flexitime or maybe some other one key shortcut.
