tuplet bracket length bug
I have ultimate version 2020.6. I’m transcribing a 17th-century piece in 3/1 time in which there are some bars with 9 half-notes (ratio 9:6). Even though I check «Extend to last note in tuplet» both in the input box and in engraving rules, Sibelius extends the bracket much too far. Afterwards I can select them all with the filter and fix them in a two-step process via the inspector: 1) check “Extend to next note after tuplet” (which actually makes them a bit shorter!), then 2) check “Extend to last note in tuplet” (which makes them even shorter, i.e. where I wanted them to be all along). Bug or user error?
This is one for the official forum at https://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/helpce ... &groupid=3. There are people there more versed in brackets than I. I agree with you, though, this seems like a bug.
I did the attached in 2022.3. Is the rend result different to yours? Or have I misunderstood?
