Dear all,
I am transcribing an early music piece, in which I would like to have the barnumbers running through the different parts of the piece, while in the beginning of the parts the opriginal clefs are shown:

ex.1.PNG (37.49 KiB) Viewed 2249 times
The problem is, that the number 89 does not stand over the left barline – even though I have chosen this option in the rules:
ex.2.PNG
ex.2.PNG (52.75 KiB) Viewed 2249 times
Of course, I can adjust the position with the inspector, but I would like to avoid this extra work and just have the numbers above the barline as the rule says.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
Thanks in advance and all the best,
A.

This is because the prefatory bar counts as the first bar of the page. It doesn't matter what you do to it, that's how sibelius looks at it. I think you'll just have to do it by hand.

Thank's Mike,
strange, that I can adjust numbers for the first and the second bar, but not for the second bar:

Anyway, I will further look out for a solution!
