On my mac I don't see a record button to press for record. I know there are short cuts and I use them, but I don't know of one for record. Reading the "how to make a shortcut" in the manual simple doesn't work for me. Maybe someone can explain to me in simple words "how to make a shortcut". I just want to press one button to record, that's all. I read the buttons O and V are available. Thanks.

1. there's a record button on the transport panel. It should stand out because it's red and all the other buttons are black.
2. The standard shortcut to start flexi-time input is [cmd][shift]f. This is listed in the manual amongst all the other keyboard shortcuts. In my manual it starts on Page 758 and it is conveniently organised by use of the Ribbon tabs. Flexi time shortcuts are listed under Note Input, which is where the flexi-time sits.
