Three Dots on Upper Left Corner of Score

I notice when I open some scores the 3 dots at the upper left hand corner are visible and on some scores they are not. First, I would like to know why they are there on some scores and not in other scores and what it means.
Second, how do I change it so the 3 dots are always visible when I open a score. Thanks.

Don't know what this is. Can you show a picture? None of my scores have three dots there, and I can't see anything in the manual about this.
if you're using a mac it may be a display issue.

I'm with Mr Palmer on this. Can you show us a screenshot?

The three dots: when you click on the left one it closes the page you're on, the middle dot minimizes the screen and the right dot when you click on it closes the window down to the lower right of the screen. This may just be a Mac thing.

Nothing here either - at least on 7.1.3! Yes, it must be a 'Mac thing', some sort of display issue.
Well, as none of the three usual responders know the answer, it's time for you to ask at the official Sibelius forum!

Those are the mac equivalents of windows' window size icons on the top right of windows. They are nothing to do with Sib. They are part of your OS.

Absolutely correct, but doesn't answer the puzzle of why they appear in some scores but not others. They should be there all the time.

I don't know why it's of concern. Maybe the type of window in which they don't appear is different in some way? That's Macs for you!
