I am trying to change the time signature from 4/4 to 5/4. After selecting the bar that I want the change to occur in, I select the "Time Signature" under Notations, the time signature choices don't drop down for me select one. It seems like it always used to do that. What is the problem?

(Next Day) - I opened a new file and tried to change the time signature as indicated above and it worked fine, so I started using that template (TTBB) for my work. After I had several measures inputted (if thats a word) I tried to change the time signature and the time signature box would not open again. What causes it to stop working once I have started working on a score? All the other boxes (clef, bar line and key signature) drop down, but time signature does not. Is there a bug in my program?

You sure you're on Ultimate and haven't inadvertently activated a lower tier of Sibelius?

And even if you are on Ultimate, is it up to date? Older versions have serious problems on later versions of Mac O/S.

I am on version 2021.9 build 3599. Is there something more recent and how do we find out about updates?

The latest I know of is 2022.10. Check your Avid account for any updates you may be entitled to.

AFAIK, there are no serious issues on Macs with 2021.9. Have you restarted your Mac recently? I mean a proper restart? Are you on something like an M1? I do believe there are issues with Sib versions before 2022.x with M1 Macs.

How are you calling up the time signature dialog? (Pressing T should be enough) Is it possible that the Mac OS is using T for something else? Are you running anything in the background that could be kidnapping T?
