Keeping objects attached to the correct anchor

This is a dumb question, and I'm pretty sure of the answer but...
Am I correct that there is *no* way to keystroke objects (including text) in any direction without automatically shifting the anchor point?
I know about about mouse-dragging with ALT/COM, but that is inherently less precise (or much more time consuming.)

Working in the score, use the x value in the inspector. In the parts the item will not shift its anchor point anyway.

Yes indeed! True enough, and as precise as one can get. But, given the added keystrokes to open Inspector, and adjusting for the reduced image size because of the screen space stolen by the inspector panel, I find this way of handling things just as slow as dragging...
