Location of Sibelius program files and Sibelius Sounds

Hi

I am a composer and not a computer buff, so your assistance would be very gratefully received.

I have just upgraded from Sibelius 7.5.1 to Sibelius 2023.5 build 2300

My computer installed Sibelius 2023.5 in the following location:
c:\Program Files\Avid\Sibelius

However it installed the new Sibelius Sounds in the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Sibelius Sounds

The result of this is that I can only access:
GeneralMidi.xml
Sibelius 6 Essentials.xml
Sibelius 7 Sounds (Lite).xml
Sibelius 7 Sounds.xml

My question is can I move the new Sibelius Sounds from:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Sibelius Sounds to C:\Program Files\Avid\Sibelius

and, if so, how do I do this so that Sibelius 2023.5 will be able to use them?

Answered on the official forum. (As you're there, you don't need to bother with this unofficial site!)

Your files are in the correct locations. The correct sounds are there - called Sibelius 7 Sounds. There are no 'new' sounds.
