Hi

I'm importing a midi file to Sibelius created in Cubase. Everything looks good except the tempo info isn't importing. When I open the midi file in another DAW the tempo info's all there. Any bright ideas?

I have just tried importing several MIDI files with varying numbers of tempo changes.
All imported correctly. On investigation, there are no tick boxes or settings that affect the tempo data on import.

Questions for you:

Could the tempo changes be hidden text items that you can't see because Hidden Objects is turned off on the view tab?

What is the ACTUAL version of Ultimate that you have. You'll find this info on the File-->Help page. Mine is 2023.8 build 2563.There are MANY versions of Ultimate.

Thanks, yes I checked hidden objects, there's various bits of text data eg "~C 7,110" (which I assume refer to automation data or something), but no metronome marks, and on the transport bar things just stay at crotchet = 100 throughout, which the music definitely isn't! Same Ultimate version as you. Do you see metronome marks? Thanks

Could you zip a MIDI file and attach it so I can have a look? Please include a description of what (and where) you are expecting to see.

Sure, for some reason it won't let me attach so here's a link https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/3pdp9b2r ... 3achz&dl=0

For that file for example, it should all be at 64BPM, but that doesn't come up
