Reinstalled Sibelius 7.3 on same laptop after crash with new Avid license program.
Need to fix "Total Device Count Exceeded"
This is the only device I use for Sibelius 7.3....
Found "Device ID" in the license text

You'll have to raise a case with Avid support to get them to reset your seat count, and then follow their instructions for activating Sibelius 7.
You could email Ingrid at Avid, as she's always helpful. ingrid.guce@avid.com Explain what's happened and I'm sure she will be able to assist. I had to do the same thing earlier this year and after a few emails back and forth she was able to send me the required authorisation file that their system for some reason would not generate.
Don't forget to reinstall Sibelius Sounds if you use them, as that's a separate installation to Sibelius itself.
