Hiding Notes Changes Spacing

Hello,

I'm trying to create exercises for my students by hiding notes so that the spacing is the same but they can then fill in their own answers. However, whenever I hide the notes, the spacing bunches up for no reason!

It is a four part texture across two staves, and all I want to do is hide 80% of the notes and then leave the rest so my pupils can fill it in. It with the spacing changes, it would be hard for them to fit everything else in. This never happened with a previous version of Sibelius, so I don't know why it is doing it now.

Does anyone have any advice here? I've looked through all the settings to try to find a solution but can't find one!
