Hello!

My name is Alex and i have two questions regarding the purchase of Sibelius:

1) I am considering of buying "Avid Sibelius Ultimate Ann Subs EDU". When the licence expires, could i buy the "Avid Sibelius Ultimate Perpet. EDU" at a better price? (given the fact that i already paid some for the annual version of it)

2) If i have the "Avid Sibelius Ultimate Perpet. EDU" and an important update appears, what do i do? Do i pay something to update? (if i am not mistaken, one cannot update after the purchase of "Sibelius Perpetual")

Thanks in advance,
Alex K.

A question probably best asked on the OFFICIAL Sibelius forum:

http://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/helpcen ... ?groupid=3

This old site is unofficial and almost moribund.

Thanks for your reply...!
The thing is that i cannot ask something at the Sibelius Help Center because i do not yet own Sibelius!
So, i have asked a question at the Avid Sibelius Users group on facebook...

I would hope the educational version would be cheaper, but there's no telling with Avid.
If you currently have a perpetual licence, you can reinstate it. Try contacting a reseller.
