How do I deactivate magnetic layout "forever"?

Hi there!
Is there a way to deactivate Magnetic Layout in a way where it stays deactivated unless I activate it again? I often have to move around a lot of "M's" when writing sheet music for accordion (see attachment), and it's quite a bit of extra work when I have to deactivate Magnetic Layout for every single M. The way I deactivate it atm is as shown in the attachment.
