Weird Spacing Issue When Copying/Pasting Notes

I have an issue when copying/pasting notes. If I copy a measure or two and paste it to another measure, the spacing gets all screwed up. I then have to manually drag the individual notes to correct the spacing. It happens a lot so it's very time consuming!

This seems to be a recent problem? I've been using the same template for years for rhythm charts. I've attached a few screen shots to give you the idea. Is there some sort of default setting that I'm missing? Maybe something got changed in an update? I'd like to avoid this, as I work mostly with rock rhythm charts that involve a lot of copying and pasting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
