More MIDI Export issues: tempo changes not exported

I've been running through several songs from my musicals, exporting vocal MIDI and the orchestration track, then using SynthesizerV to create vocal parts from the MIDI, which I then combine with the orchestration to produce a "finished demo". I've done dozens without encountering this problem, but it's got me bumfuzzled.

The score has tempo changes, with accelerando and ritards. Many of these songs have had similar such changes, with no problem. On this song, however, the resulting MIDI file doesn't include the tempo changes!

I'm exporting Type 1 (as all the other songs). But when I added the resulting vocal part into Cubase, after the first tempo change, it just came off track.

I examined the MIDI file itsef, and sure enough, NO TEMPO changes!

I can't figure it. I've attached the original score and one of the vocal MIDI exports if anyone would like to take a look.
