Hidden time signature issue

Hello all! Possible sibelius convertee, here. Help convince me Sibelius is better!

I write a lot of music with no time signature, but with barlines. Sort of a free rhythm. I understand that you can make the time signature to fit the notes then hide it, but theres a problem. The invisible time signature still takes up space! so if you had a new one in every bar, each measure would start with a dopey looking blank space. Is there any solution? Much Appriciated.

Just delete the time signature, and answer 'No' when asked if you want the following bars rewritten.
