Hello. I am using an IAC Driver with Sibelius Ultimate (latest version) to send midi to Logic Pro X for playback. When I monitor the midi notes coming into Logic, the electric part is an octave lower than it should be. None of the other parts are wrong. I tried changing to a different electronic bass instrument in Sibelius, but it was the same. The problem seems to be in Sibelius with this one part. Thanks!

IIRC, Sibelius' Bass guitar instruments are set to play the written notes an 8ve lower than written. If this is going wroing try changing the instrument definition to play an 8ve higher.

Yes, that makes sense. I've been opening older compositions, playing them, and only the bass parts were not sounding. It's possible that I had used bass instruments in Logic which were set to transpose +12 and now I'm using bass instruments which are not. The weird thing is that, when I noticed this issue, I immediately changed the bass instrument in Logic to transpose +12 and it still did not sound. Maybe some virtual instruments will not transpose? I will have to experiment. But, I appreciate you pointing that out.

I would probably do the 8ve up in Sibelius, rather than logic (either edit the existing definition or create a new instrument). That's the start of the issue.
