Hi everyone

As a new user to Sibelius, I got some midi files off the net. When I import them into sibelius, they sound the same as if I played them in winamp, but the score is nothing like how it would be written...there are 32nd notes and ties and 32nd rests everywhere...it is a real mess...

Any ideas?

When opening the midi file, use options/minimum note value to reduce the mayhem by ensuring it isn't unduly low - the tuplet settings may also help. Plug-ins/notation/remove rests may also be of use.
