How do you make a Wav or any burnable music format (CDR)?

Brand new guy to Sibelius G7 here. Can some of you experienced guys tell me the best way to convert my scores to a file format from which I can burn CDRs. I have created both .sib and .midi files but neither my Roxio or my Hotburn will recognize them. Is there some good freeware out there? If no good freeware, what is a good music software package the will do this for me?

I use Record Producer Deluxe, to record my Midi file playing and save as: mp3 or wma, the program is only $40.
