After opening a midi file in Sibelius, I noticed the playback retained attributes like the velocity of each note, sustain, etc. Is there a way in Siblius to edit those attributes? Is there a midi viewer in Sibelius to make quick edits in Midi?
Thanks!
Editing Midi in sibelius?
These are retained in the Sibelius score, and play back if Live Playback is enabled.Broadsound wrote: the playback retained attributes like the velocity of each note, sustain, etc.
You can edit these in the Playback pane of the Properties Window. You can also show the velocities in graphical form (View > Live Playback Velocities); you can edit these with the mouse by clicking (single notes) or dragging (also for single notes, or for a phrase, dragging the mouse across a set of velocity bars).

Greetings Sebastián:
Using the Graphical MIDI Tools plugin you can edit the MIDI aspects of the score in a visual way through a piano roll view.
It allows entering, visually, MIDI velocities, CC automation curves, tweak the sound duration and position of written notes, etc., together with other features.
At the moment there is a free trial version at:
www.graphicalmiditools.com/trial
Hope this information helps. All the best!
