Soft pedal

I am creating midi files from sibelius 6 Pro and then open these in Garritan's Steinway Virtual Grand Professional 1.03. In Sibelius, I placed a midi message ~C67 under a staff, exported it as midi but realized the left pedal dont work. I also tried with "sord", "con sord" and "una corda" but no effect so far.

I think I dont know how to instruct midi messages properly. I can see ~C67 (view/Hidden Objects) is in there.

I also tried to use "Pedal lines" plugin but it didnt worked with my ~C67 command. A message "0 pedal lines have been created".
