problem to connect a stage-piano

hi,
I have a problem which I hope to resolve with your help.
I don´t manage to connect a stage-piano with my sibelius.

my equipment:
thinkpad laptop (2GB ram)
roland rd 600 stage piano
sibelius 5
midi-port

the midi port works well; it´s not a problem to use it in cubase.

I don´t know nearly anything about midi and computerstuff so please give me easy explications.

You need to check that the appropriate MIDI interface is enabled on the Input Devices page of Preferences.

This is looking like a MIDI loop-back problem. As per my advice turn Local Off at the piano.
