Sibelius and other VST

Hello for all,

I'd like to ask about using other VST on Sibelius 6, for example Garritan Jazz and Big Band. I have problems with the sounds because they sound differently than the sounds of Sibelius essentials, I mean the quality, there is no legato, they sounds like cut-off (with or without slurs). I always experienced problems with using other VST on sibelius, are there some configurations, or solutions, or some other people who have the same problem about quality of sibelius playback.
