Hi

I'm on Sibelius 5 and use a Roland RD-700 GX keyboard.
When I play on the keyboard, Sibelius receives all the notes that are higher than the E2, but doesn't receive the notes that are lower.
When I use other music softwares, there's no problem : all the notes are received.
I've verified the MIDI settings on the Roland RD-700 GX and it seems to be OK : MIDI transmitting from A0 to C8.
I used a Roland RD-700 (not GX) before and never had this problem.

What can I do to set the MIDI receiving options in Sibelius?

Sounds like there's a split point set in the Roland. You say that it's transmitting MIDI data, but a split would put that on separate channels, typically 1 for the right hand side and 2 for the left.

Your other software might be set to Omni Mode, receiving on all channels.

Thank you for your answer!
I've just solved the problem.
I used a MIDI guitar to write music sheets.

In the Preferences, the lowest note that Sibelius could receive was set on E2.

I desactivated this parameter.

Everything is alright!
