I'm curious to know if anyone has knowledge/experience to share where a "lead sheet" is created in Sibelius (6.2) and then exported so that it can be easily arranged in Band-In-A-Box (BIAB)?

Experiments with BIAB importing a MIDI melody line seem to work OK but it (BIAB) doesn't recognize the key signature. It could be my trial-and-error methodology.

I work with amateur southern/country gospel songwriters that neither read nor write notation and it's hard to demo their work without making a reasonable accompaniment track and/or notation/lead sheet.

In addition to Sibelius 6.2 I have ProTools 9.x (on MacBook or Win7) and Yamaha Motif XS-8.

I do this as a retirement hobby and never accept $$$ for helping the songwriters, but I'd really like to get more proficient with these tools so that it doesn't take so much time/effort to create reasonable "products".

Anyone with ideas, etc is encouraged to post or email me privately.
TIA.
