how do you delete rests?

i have sibelius version 3. when i open a midi file and convert it into a sibelius score, it notates a whole lot of unnecessary rests throughout the score. i was wondering if anybody knew how to delete all of the rests without having to select them one at a time. i would really appreciate it if somebody could help me with this, as the unecessary rests clutter the page and make the music difficult to read.
