can I import midi from sibelius into cubase and then rewire

I would like to know if it would be possible to create a sibelius midi file save this , import it into cubase and then play this back with the superb sounds in reason use rewire or if I can rewire sibelius straight into reason etc.
Also trying to figure out why I have latency with real time recording .
I run a 2.2 plus amd with a dmx6 fire card , plenty of ram and a general midi keyboard. Software is cubase sx 2.2 , reaon 3 and IF this is all possible I will get a full copy of sibelius as this demo looks useful .
