I wonder why the red note plays just fine when played in Sibelius, but in the exported Midi file, it doesn't.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Why? What happens to the red note?
The grace notes I use are the ones with slant lines through the stems. They occur before the beat. Perhaps you've somehow configured these to occur on the beat and might be best notated as 16ths or 32nds. What are you using to play the midi file?

Thanks for your interest, bobp.
The red note sounds just fine when I play it in Sibelius, but in the exported midi, either it doesn't sound at all or it's too short (doesn't sound like a quarter note at all), which I find very, very strange.
I use grace notes with the oblique stroke through the stems as well (Acciaccatura), but I also use the ones without the oblique stroke (Appoggiatura).
The playback problem seems to come up when a note is in the appoggiatura but the same note is the principal note as well (see picture 1)
Perhaps it all has to do with midi messages on and off? I remember having read something about that.
Anyway, could you please copy the passage of my previous post in your Sibelius and then export to midi to see if your playback is correct? I want to see if this problem happens to me only or it's a bug
By the way, I use Microsoft GS Wavetable to play midi files

Thanks, bobp.
If you have the same problem then probably it's a glitch in the program.
I hope we can find a workaround for this, and perhaps we could get Sibelius developers to fix this with an update or something.
