I've just installed 2018.4 build 1696 and slurs produce staccato and tenuto and staccato notes are silent.
I'm using Garritan marching band 2 sounds which have been fine for several years and versions.
Any ideas please?

Hmmm. Just noticed it's only bad using Euphonium voice. Seems ok in Sib 7 voices but the Euph. voice is rubbish. As most of what I write or arrange is for Euphonium this is quite important.

As I recall, you need a sound set to make other libraries work in Sibelius. Are you sure the one you have is rated for the latested version of Sibelius?

Current sound set in download section is 7.5 which I have installed - just re-downloaded and am installing now.

So spent most of the day arranging a piece and remembered about rescanning sounds etc (not something you do regularly!) and all now seems to be good.
All the regular instruments I use are sounding fine and all play correctly. Thanks for looking....
