I've been having problems with getting audio output from simultaneously running applications e.g. if I'm running Sibelius and Transcribe, I'll only get sound from one or the other - usually whichever I opened first.
I've followed the instructions here - https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articl ... bwJ4wr76Og - and now I can get ouput from both programs at the same time but when I switch windows to Transcribe, Sibelius stops audio output; so I can't play along with a recording or anything like that.
On my old system I used to be able to run anything I wanted to simultaneously with no issues. Any ideas?
I'm on Windows 10 and my audio interface is a Roland Rubix24. I'm running the latest version of Sibelius Ultimate.
Audio output from multiple applications
If you are running applications that use ASIO drivers, you can, generally, only use one at a time. They are what is called "single client" apps. The only way around this is to set one or both of the applications to some other driver (MME/DS).
IMO, this has never been that satisfactory a solution as other issues start to be felt (latency/clipping/etc).
