Have upgraded to Sibelius ultimate running on Windows 11. Have created a score for 4 trumpets and organ. 1st trumpet only plays back first three notes then stops sounding, however playback continues in the other parts. Any suggestions please? Would deleting and reinstalling Sib Ultimate help?

I seriously doubt it.
What OS are you using?
Which version of Sib Ultimate are you running?
What sound library are you using?

As this is a playback issue, it would be really helpful if you emailed me a score that demonstrates the issue. (email in my signature)

Solved my own problem! Don't associate boxed text with a note and then drag it elsewhere. Sibelius Ultimate playback seriously doesn't like it!

That would depend on what was IN the boxed text. Words like mute, quiet, a dynamic (possibly not in bold italic), a tempo direction etc will all affect playback even when they are part of a much longer paragraph and not necessarily in the normal text style they would use. Solution - Turn off all playback in the inspector for that text object.
