sometimes older scores (all made in sib.7.5) I reopen to edit don't playback, altough the screen show sound were loading up at opening the score. in best case 1 instrument is sounding. restarting the computer doesn't help, restarting the configuration doesn't help.

none of these.
second problem arose recently: "tempocalibration" In playback some instruments (it differs from piece to piece) are not just on time on the beat: they come some microseconds later, or don't follow the drumpart. I hear "padam" in stead of "bam" if you know what I mean. very annoying.

Check that your soundcard drivers are up to date. Also make sure you are using decent hardware. If you are on Windows, they seem to be determined to make us buy newer soundcards!
Also, see what latency you are getting. Are you using an ASIO or WASAPI driver for your sounds? this can make a huge difference.

I have a Sibelius first, windows 7 ultimate 32 bits,M-audio delta 2496.I did a upgrade to windows 10 and it not worked so I have formatted and came back to windows 7.Now I have no sound. The mixer shows that it is working and the notes I play are in score but I don't have no sound.I have tried everything but no sucess.Any idea please. Thanks
If the mixer faders are showing activity, then sibelius is sending audio data. It is most likely going awry in Windows.
Usual suspects:
Wrong device selected under playback->Audio Engine options
Wrong device selected in Windows device manager
Outdated device drivers. Don't trust windows to tell you. It often lies. Go to the manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers from there.

cunha,
Double check Mike's list.
I see there are no windows 10 drivers for your 2496. Some folks claim success with the W7 drivers. The 2496 is quite old and was discontinued some time ago. That doesn't mean it's no good. It is a sad fact that something brand new today can be worthless tomorrow.
Since you've gone back to it, make sure you have the latest drivers for W7.
Something else to keep in the back of your mind. I think that even Sibelius First might be pushing the limits of a 32 bit system.

I'm having an odd issue with one of my systems that has an onboard audio setup. It's a Realtek audio chip, and you can't hear it, it's playing sound, but it's so quiet you have to turn the speakers up to 100% (the actual physical volume control on the speaker) and the windows volume up to 100% to her it like it's up to 5%. this same system in windows 7 was very loud, you usually turned it up to 25% max.
Any ideas?

Make sure there are no half muted mixer channels.

have committed a stupid in as much as I have switched off the sound on my computer. I had been having some problems and eventually switched on ALL the services in msconfig.exe. After having sorted them all out I have realized that the sound is still off. I have gone through the list of services several times, but short of switching them is quite the opposite.
Edit: After some time I figured it out through this guide: https://techloris.com/windows-10-no-sound/
