There are 2 bass clef staves (tenor, bass) with notes an octave apart, but that sound the same. How to get tenor sound an octave above bass sound? See measure 11 in attached sample score. Thank you.

I can't open your file (too new), but if both staves are bass clef it might not work. Try either bass clef with an 8 above it. or treble clef with or with out the 8 below.

I guess we need to know where you got this file from and how you got it into Sibelius. The bass and tenor lines are a mess on many levels. It's like there are mid. values messing things up. When you see notes in red (as in the bass line) that usually means notes out of range for the given instrument. At least they are red in the version you sent me.

Without more information, it looks like you imported a midi or an xml that Sibelius can't sort out, for some reason.

I scanned an opera chorus score with PhotoScore, and imported it into Sibelius. The tenor and bass notes were all on one (tenor/bass) staff. So I created an empty Tenor staff, copied/pasted the tenor/bass staff to the tenor staff; deleted all the second (bass) notes from the tenor staff, and deleted all the top (tenor) notes from the tenor/bass staff (leaving just the bass notes).

Did the notes sound properly in PhotoScore? Where they correct in the initial import to Sibelius?

Yes, and yes. But I can't work this issue any longer; too many other priorities. Thanks for your attention. I'm attaching a Sibelius file just after import from PhotoScore if you're interested in the challenge of finding what's amiss.
