I have a Windows 10 computer, and I'm trying to install Sibelius First. But when I double click the install file, and it says that it is installing the InstallShield wizard and extracting Sibelis.msi, the progress bar goes about 85-90 percent of the way across then the program quits. I then get a Windows Installer popup that looks like this:

When I click OK, the popup closes and nothing more happens.
Does anyone have a solution?
Help Installing Sibelius First
This is probably a Windows issue, not Sibelius as such.
1) make sure the download is not corrupted, download it again if required
2) make sure that your AV app isn't messing things up, McAfee seems to be bad at doing this

If you have got Macafee installed it conflicts with sibelius as well. I'd get something else.

You can temporarily turn off your AV to see if it is the problem. Otherwise you can go to Event Viewer to find out what went wrong.
I have never paid for AV, and have had to fix several computers for friends who did. As a experiment, ever since W 10 came out I have only used the AV that comes with Windows. Defender. It used to be crap, but Microsoft has really made it worth while. I've never had a problem with it.
