Printed music runs off page
This is the message that I posted in the wrong place which I have shifted here......
I could not find my answer on this forum so am starting a new post but hope I am in the correct place? I have printed my conductors score and all 18 parts but am having a lot of trouble with the flute (attached). The second line gets cut off in the last bar. I have tried to adjust the bar width but no luck. All other instruments print fine.
Another problem on the flute and a couple other instruments is multi bar rests are not coming up.The flute for instance has 24 single bar rests.
I am using Sibelius ultimate on Windows 10.
Hope someone can help.

This happens when you have been dragging barlines.
Put a line break before the run off, then see what happens. If it all fits on the page properly try the following sequence:
[ctrl/cmd]a
[ctrl/cmd][shift]n
[ctrl/cms][shift]i
In the inspector type a zero in the gap before bar panel under bars.
[ctrl/cmd][shift]u
Now see if it's any better.
Correction - I missed off an important [shift] - Doh!

Thanks Mike but I am still not there. I tried to find line break but could only find page break which I tried but it put the whole score wrong so I undid that!
I went through the sequence you gave me but got the purple system select and next command gave me the quick new set up screen.....so no luck at all!
Any simple way apart from using an earlier version?

Sorry, it should have said [ctrl][shift]n
My bad
To create a line break select a barline and press the return key (the big one on the main keyboard). The reason you do this is to bring the off-page bars back onto the page. It may or may not work, depending how far you have been dragging bars.
As an aside, there is one and only one reason to drag barlines around and that is to create an incipit or a score with cutaway staves. Doing that as a regular thing leads to all sorts of problems, some of which are not easily soluble!

Looks like I have created a big problem I tried hitting return after selecting the offending bar line but the bar went full page width!
I went through your sequence again and almost got there but could not find where to put the zero when I got to inspector.
I will attach a screen shot
I really appreciate your help.

OK. It's my bad advice again. Just select the offending bar in any staff (blue box) you should now see 'gap before'. If this is not zero then set it to zero. The bar you want is the one AFTER the line break.
If that doesn't work you could try making the paper size bigger temporarily You know which bar number it is, make sure the bar is at the margin and then turn on view handles. You will see a tiny purple box to the right of the barline. Select it and then do reset position. With any luck it will go back to where it should be. Then put the page size back to normal. If that doesn't work the only thing I can suggest is to email me the file and I'll have a look at it. That would be quicker than trying to do it piecemeal and I could explain how I got it to go back when I reply.
I repeat my advvice about never dragging barlines in the body of a piece. If sib is cramming too many bars on a line, just select the barline and press [return] that will move any bars to the right onto the next system. If you want, as so many people seem to, have the same number of bars on a line (eg for a lead sheet) set it up under layout->Autobreaks. For the parts (to do them all at once), set it up under Parts->Part Appearance->All Parts.

I have tried each of your suggestions exactly (find in ribbon search is handy) and they all make sense but nothing has changed unfortunately!
The problem is just in the flute part.
If you don't mind I would be very grateful if I could send it to you to have a look at.
How do I put it in a format to send?

Just email me the sib file to mike@mike-lyons.co.uk. I have sib ultimate so I can handle all sib versions.
