Sibelius 7.1.3

I'm not quite sure how to explain this... but say I have four parts. I decide I want to move all the parts up one, and move the top part to the bottom. The screenshot shows measure 1 before the rotation, measure 2 is after the rotation.

rotation before after

How I do it manually is:
  • Select a passage from part 1 and copy it
  • Select the equivalent passage in part 2, and alt-click paste it into part 1
  • alt-click to paste part 3 into part 2
  • alt-click paste part 4 into part 3
  • paste from clipboard part 1 into part 4, and push it down an octave
I'm hoping there's a faster way to do that "rotation", maybe a command I don't know about or a plugin. I'd like to select a passage across four parts, and click "rotate up" or "rotate down" and have the parts all shift.

Is that a thing? Or is there a better way to accomplish what I'm trying to accomplish?

You can [alt]-click all 3 parts i oe go - just select the passage (blue box) and [alt]-click in the new location.

hah! of course! that is a lot faster.

I have been doing it one-at-a-time for months... even though I have definitely alt-pasted multiple staves in other situations. I just never put it together for this situation.

Thank you for the help :)
