Hi,
I'm currently transcribing a piece that starts off with a cello, a viola and a choir. Now there's a second part with only violin and viola. If I'd just add the violin, there would just be an empty violin staff for the entire first part. There would also be an empty cello and choir staff in the continuing part where there's only violin and viola.

I imagine it would look a lot cleaner if you could somehow "hide" staffs that are not needed. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance :D

I'm not exactly sure what you arying to achieve, but if you want to hide empty staves ([ctrl][shift][alt]h, it is best if you make line breaks at places where the instrumentation changes.
