Heya everyone,
I am looking to incorporate some third-party VST plugins with Sibelius. Is it possible to do that?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
VST Plugins Integration
Yes, but something of a minefield as you'll have to create manual soundsets for each VSTi sound library.
If you're talking FX plug-ins, I've not tried it.
Whatever you do, just remember that Sibelius doesn't work like a DAW, and the more you try to make it do so, the more it fights you!

Thanks for the update. One more question, is Sibelius compatible with VSTs on this list: https://techraver.com/best-synth-vst-plugins/ since most of them are either 32-bit or 64-bit.
Do I have to manually sift through each one of these plugins? Seems like a lot of work.

All versions of Sib since version 8 are 64 bit onlyand will only see 64 bit vstis.
The point made above about treating Sibelius like a DAW is a good one. Sibelius' main aim in life is score engraving. All DAW-like functions are add-ons and are not designed to do the work of a full DAW like Reaper or Cubase. If you want to spend months of your life trying, you can create your own soundsets but it is very laborious stuff.
