Issues with Mixer Panel and Playback volumes

Hello.
I have noticed something in my playback that I haven't encountered before. When I change the volume of parts in the Mixer Panel, two things occur:
1. I have to click on each of the volume buttons for the change to occur
2. When I finish the song, and playback from the beginning, I have to reclick each of the buttons
It's like whatever changes I make to the volume sliders don't permanently change in Playback. I am not sure what is going on. Is it something I'm missing, like a setting, or a glitch in Sibelius. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Nick

Some instruments respond better to the faders that others. Distortion guitar ONLY responds to it's fader. I tend to leave the faders alone and use dynamics in the score. Well, except for timpani with full orchestra. Then I have to use ff or fff with the fader full up.

Thanks for responding Bob.
I'm not working on pieces for full orchestra as of yet. I write mostly love song duets *male & female voices*, with accompaniment, such as flutes, violins and harps. I do slightly change the reverb and chorus for each. I couldn't see though how that would make any difference. I haven't written any pieces for guitar, and used a drum set in only a few of my non-love song works.

Turn off 'Live Playback'. Does that make a difference? Live playback will largely ignore both faders and dynamics in favour of the live playback data.

Thanks for the reply Mike.
I'll check tomorrow if turning off Live Playback makes a difference. Where was it again?

Live Playback didn't make a difference, as far as anything permanent. Turning it off works, but when I play it from the beginning, I have the same issue. I have dynamics set for all parts but the two vocal ones.
It would be much esier to diagnose if we could see the actual score.

I'm not sure how to post an image page of the score itself though, nor a URL *which you didn't mention though*
When you hit the Post a Reply button there are various options for inserting URLs, or you can use Upload attachment and attach a screenshot as an image file.
Perhaps more useful would be attach a .zip file of your Sibelius file to enable forum members to look at the score.
