Referring to the above picture, I have moved a left-hand note to the right-hand staff. However, the note isn't beamed to either of its adjacent notes. (If it was, Sibelius would have created a cross-staff beam, which would visually indicate that the D in the right hand is rhythmically part of the left hand's staff.) So I've indicated "cross-staff" by manually connecting the cross-staff note to its adjacent notes with a simple line.

My question is, is there a way to draw the line to and from the cross-staff note such that the line stays "glued" to the notes as the score is formatted? Or is there something hidden in Sibelius that will recognize this situation (a cross-staff note lacking a beam) and insert the line for me?

Personally, I'd leave the d on the lower staff. The manual seems to suggest this.
